Tray icon not showing on Wayland (KDE)

Describe the bug
I just switched to wayland, as it seems mature enough now for my necessities, at least with KDE Plasma Desktop.
However, it seems that Rednotebook's tray icon doesn't like it, and it refuses to show.

To Reproduce

1. start a wayland session
2. start rednotebook
3. verify that the tray icon is not showing

Expected behavior
Rednotebook icon should show in the tray as usual
