We can no longer rely on the pipeline SDSS once we're working with additional image sets like DeCALS, so we need Celeste to do the following:

• Initialize without using existing catalogs #157
• Estimate sky background noise (don't rely on the SDSS pipeline) #225
• Learn WCS transforms from the Gaia catalog #511
• learn PSF #368
