About stand-alone executable: does it have dependencies?

Hi,
if I download and unzip the Linux ZIP WhiteboxTools Open Core file, and I wont to use it simply as cli without plugin, can I keep only whitebox_tools file, or do we have to leave it all together??

You still need many of the files contained within the WBT folder to use WhiteboxTools as a command line tool. You don't need any of the Python files (e.g. whitebox_tools.py, wb_runner.py), but you will certainly need the whitebox_tools binary executable, everything contained within the plugins folder, and settings.json.
