  • Added a NEWS.md file to track changes to the package.

engsoccerdata 0.1.7 (17/11/2019)

  • Added england_club_data - a (thus far) incomplete dataset that lists locations of all teams listed for various English competitions, the primary and secondary colours of all league teams, and potentially useful shorter names for all top division teams. Will also add abbreviated team codes and nicknames (from, and clearing up teamnames.csv)
  • Added england_locations - the locations of all teams in the english matches dataset and also the locations of all neutral grounds (e.g. for cup finals)
