Currently the only way of generating a response is to use REST API's. I would like to add an option to use sockets.

This would give the benefit of for starters:

Accurate number of current users
Better analytics
Allow for easier human take over
Allow web hooks to work asynchronously

As well as sockets we could look into GraphQL too
