Hi. I've been having to expend an extra amount of effort to understand this document - https://github.com/jackaudio/jackaudio.github.com/wiki/WalkThrough_User_NetJack2

There's technical details in there that, although they may be relevant in some way, just get in the way with the way this document is currently arranged. All I want, and I'm sure other musicians would appreciate this (remember, we are not always engineers!), is a simple step by step list of jack command lines as well as the GUI (QJackCtl) equivalent. I'll try adding something like this myself once I understand the process but I might not get back to this. Cheers.

Hey guys,

I've been trying to get jack to run for about more than a year now. And I am still failing. Looking for help - googling several days, asking people I know for help, asking at online boards, didnt help, I just keep failing. There are short explanations with some steps available somehwere, but already the first one two three steps dont work.
I have no idea anymore how to get more knowledge about how I can use this software.
I'm tankfull for anything helping.

Meanwhile i am using workarounds

For the time being, the mailing lists are a good place to ask.
