After a some of great help from the wonderful people in here ive got my openbays running on both Debian and Ubuntu virtual machines in both Vitrualbox and VMware esx
http://flv4.ddns.net/
Ive been trying to get it working with the DB stored locally lately, and run into a problem which nobody seems to have solved here ... One experienced user in here told me he had swiched to CentOS when running into the problem, and there i worked well.

When i try start Sphinxsearch i get "ERROR" after its cached the indexes, and i cant get it running. No info in the Sphinxsearch log.

Has anyone had and fixed this problem? Or is there anyone with a working local DB Debian based Openbay machine?
