No multi-selection in file manager possible #543
Comments
I would see this more a topic for the "Files" tab in Admin rather then the vis FIle browser honestly ...
You mean that you manually manipulate the content of iobroker-data/files ? This is NOT the way to go because all content under this directly is from the iobroker own storage area and manipulations there are NOT supported. If you do that some meta informations are outdated that are used for performance reasons. If you had done such manipulations in the past then you can use "iob file sync" CLI command to bring this back into sync, but please try to avoid manual changes there |
Ah!
Once you want to delete or download multiple files from the VIS file manager, that is not possible currently.
You have to do that for every single file. Very annoying.
There could be an easy way to work around that by using WinSCP to upload or download files, but that also does not work out, because files uploaded with WinSCP do not show up properly in the VIS filecmanager (why, by the way?)
