I want to deploy 200 stateful containers (databases) with Docker and use Infinit to store it's data. And also I'm going to use a clustered Minio deployment as S3 compatible storage driver for Infinit. But I think my databases will be slow. Am I right?

I don't think Infinit is ready for this use case yet, for many reasons:

  • Infinit lacks some improvements made to memo* (connectivity, performance, etc.);
  • Infinit specific development was frozen in favor of memo, which is also frozen right now;
  • The Infinit volume plugin is not swarm compatible yet.

memo: The backend of Infinit, extracted recently.
