There are a large number of Source Composition Analysis (SCA) tools on the market that provide some form of dependency inventory. We should catalog some of these so that we can identify additional utilities that may be of some benefit to develop.

For the purpose of Hacktoberfest, I will accept a pull request for this issue that updates the INVENTORY_SOURCES.md file that adds five new potential sources that could be supported. Examples must include:

  • The name of the inventory source
  • A brief description of the source
  • A link to an example of the inventory format provided by the source
