Back button breaks slideshow

Observed with the demo (http://imakewebthings.com/deck.js/introduction/) using Chrome and Safari on a MacBook.

1. Navigate to an arbitrary slide using keyboard or buttons
2. In the same tab, go to another page, e.g. click on "Docs" in the navbar
3. Go back

When navigating back through the slideshow, seemingly random errors occur. The slide is empty, multiple slides are displayed at once, or the content is displaced.
