One feature of the local app that is very handy is the protein translation relative to the gene track. You can approximate this current with the 'Three-frame Translate' option on the sequence track, but it would be arguably more useful to have a translate relative to a gene track (e.g. RefSeq) so you don't need to manually find the correct orientation and figure out codons that span splice junctions.

This has been requested before I just haven't gotten to it yet.
