What do i need to pull data from a collection?

Thanks for your efforts on this project.

Not a bug, but I want to pull data from a collection on a new page (located in pages). Do i just create a new model, and a new route? I've been looking at how Admin pulls all the users but i don't think i understand the architecture behind this.
Any information about this is appreciated.
