App Stops working after a while

When I am using this app, after letting it run for a while to track and manage my microphone it will suddenly stop responding. I setup a function key to mute my microphone and when I press that function key it does not mute, after some time being active. This is not a short time either, within 30 minutes of launching the software. Not to mention the software seems to hang on any single thing that I attempt to do for the first 5 minutes of it being launched.

I would not recommend this software to a deathrow inmate, nevermind a friend, in this state. The last update was a year ago, so I cant imagine much is going on behind the scenes.
