Pains of a 13" screen #5
Comments
One of the issues could be the theme you're using - it's pretty minimal styling wise out of the box but we could perhaps add some more in. See it in TwentySeventeen for example, lots of base typography that gets picked up. Some sticky sections would be cool but I let it out for now as it's responsive currently. Would get a bit complicated I think but worth a look for sure. |
Maybe make the response section expand to an additional optional screen (akin to the chrome inspector). |
The idea was originally from the feeling restful site response display. I'd
thought about positioning it to the bottom and expanding /contracting it
like that. Could definitely benefit from a lot more UI space but I also
don't want the docs column to be super wide because it's horrible to read
like that.
Something I haven't documented is that I made it possible to embed the docs
anywhere via a shortcode which limited options in terms of sticky UI
elements but probably better to abandon that idea and focus on a better
full page UX.

Got it, ya very likely that my theme is messing with things. 👍 |
Parts of the view kind of fall apart on a 13" screen since it's just not quite large enough for all of this data. I had a couple of ideas on how this could be eased a bit.
Happy to do any of these myself if you like the ides
