Nipe doesn't change the ip address after restarting

I've installed nipe, and everything went well with the installation. I've tried ran the command "sudo perl nipe.pl restart", and it didn't change the previous ip it gave to me. In a nutshell, it didn't assign me a new ip. How can I fix this?

I just published a new version of Nipe, can you test it and tell me if it works now?

If it doesn't work, can you give me more information? Like the distribution they are using or any other information they find pertinent?
