I'd like to take over the maintain of the snap version #87

Hello!
I have some experience on packaging a snap.
And i am interested in take over the maintain of the snap version.
But i dont have much experience about js and npm.
Can i take this?

Hello, sorry for the late response.

Yes, you can take over the maintenance of the snap version.

However, I must say that I cannot personally provide support for it, and I can only officially support the flatpak version. It may be helpful if you mention this in some way on the snap package's page.

Please do let me know if you still want to do it, and also once it's up and running.

PS: If you know any way I can give you access to the already-existing discontinued snap version, let me know.

Yes, i want to do it.
I plan to create a snap repo under my account, and change the snap-store link to my repo.

  1. first you need to add my account (aoilinux) as a collaborator using this link
    https://dashboard.snapcraft.io/snaps/duolingo-desktop/collaboration/

  2. after i accept the collaborator inviation, use your snap account,
    you need to post in snap forum into the store-requests category request
    a snap owner tranfer, then wait for canonical approve.
