ACT correctly displays that it is parsing but the overlay does not display any data. I am able to fix this issue by going into "FFXIV Settings" and clicking on the "Reset to Default" button on log location.
The log file location is still the same default one, pressing the button does nothing but that solves the issue.

That didn't work for me. Though, imagine pushing an update (without testing it) and then walking away from the computer for days. Oof.

If those error was fixed by resetting options of FFXIV_ACT_Plugin - that's what can't only overlay affected, or it's a bug of OverlayPlugin. overlay totally relies on data that supplies by ACT, and doesn't do any communication direct with other plugins.

It was the new option for "pet-merging". It's completely broken btw.

I can confirm it is the pet-merging option. My friend has a similar issue. They have both the latest version of the overlay plugin and ACT parsing plugin. Turning off pet merging does fix the issue. ACT itself seems to also be recording the parse properly, so it seems to be isolated to a bug within the overlay plugin or Kagerou.

reason of that bug is ef9b7ed; can you please confirm date, on both of this issue and commit, once again?
