Since formerly MapD, formerly OmniSci Core, is now called OmniSciDB (https://github.com/omnisci/omniscidb), it would make sense to rename this package as well.

  • Decide on a name
  • Rename repo
  • Decide whether to put this package under @omnisci/...
  • Rename npm package
  • Mark old package as deprecated
