Endpoint not working /v1/agent/check/register in consul 1.14 getting ServiceID does not exist #3546

We recently upgraded from consul from 1.13 to 1.14 and we still have the consul agent pods running as daemons in all the nodes

While trying to register the health check for a service using endpoint /v1/agent/check/register. Getting error ServiceID does not exist

Haven't changed anything in the code. Are we doing something wrong? What is the right API to do a health check register in 1.14
