Describe the bug
I'm sorry to open this issue. Honestly, I don't know whether this is playerctl issue or harmonoid.

When following MPRIS metadata changes with playerctl, it would crash on harmonoid launch or music changes on harmonoid. See: altdesktop/playerctl#316. playerctl only crashes on harmonoid, I don't get an error on other players (mpd, strawberry and chromium).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Run playerctl to follow metadata changes (playerctl -F metadata)
  2. Open Harmonoid
  3. playerctl encounter GLib:ERROR

or

  1. Open Harmonoid
  2. Play music
  3. Run playerctl to follow metadata changes (playerctl -F metadata)
  4. Let music change to next track
  5. playerctl encounter GLib:ERROR

Expected behavior
Playerctl didn't encounter errors since playerctl works perfectly on other players.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [ArchLinux DE: Hyprland (wayland)]
  • Harmonoid Version [v0.3.8]

Thank you for this amazing music players 🙏
