I have two slides set to auto animate from the first to the second. (The reason for this is to avoid the "fade" slide transition dimming and then undimming the matching elements between slides during the transition; if there were a way to solve this, that would also solve my issue.) Matching elements remain unchanged between slides, while unmatched elements on the second slide fade into place, as expected.
However, unmatched elements on the first slide do not fade out, but rather disappear abruptly. Is there any way to have the unmatched elements on the first slide fade out, the same way that unmatched elements on the second slide fade in?
