A global celebration of Open Data.
<p>We are hosting a special event as part of International Open Data Day (http://opendataday.org/). The event is open to anyone who believes that greater openness improves the world. Learn about</p> <ul> <li>Tools for data sharing and analysis </li> <li>Open science and reproducible research</li> <li>Reusing open government data</li> <li>How to improve corporate accountability through transparency</li> <li>Open Data Day is a mixture of talks, workshops and, of course, hacking will enable you to learn and share your knowledge.</li> </ul> <h3>Schedule</h3> <ul> <li>10:00 - Doors open</li> <li>11:00 - Welcome talks</li> <li>12:00 - "10 things to get the most out of today” - Caspar Addyman</li> <li>12:15 - Icebreaker & snack lunch provided</li> <li>13:00 - Work session</li> <li>17:00 - Show and tell</li> <li>18:00 - Event finish</li> </ul> <p>Presenters include Dr Olivia Guest (<a href="http://redistrict.science/">redistrict.science</a>, <a href="http://neuroplausible.com/">neuroplausible.com</a>) and Mollie Hanley (<a href="https://opencorporates.com">opencorporates.com</a>).</p>
