Hello! Afforder is a little app to help you budget. It's very simple and all your data stays on your phone. If you have any questions or feedback, please email iamsteve@gmail.com.
</p>
<p>
<b>Concept</b><br />
Provide Afforder with your monthly spending budget and it will divide that into a daily budget. Try and stay within that budget. If you spend less, your daily budget will go up throughout the month. If you spend more, you'll see a warning showing how much you've reduced your budget by. Afforder assumes you've already figured out your bills, savings, etc.
</p>
<p>
<b>Installing on iOS</b><br />
Tap the share button, scroll down, tap "Add to home screen".
</p>
<p>
<b>Installing on Android</b><br />
Open the menu, tap "Add to home screen".
</p>
<p>
<b>Usage</b><br />
Tap on the monthly budget to set it.<br />
Tap on your daily budget (top of the app) to record spending.<br />
Tap on items in your spend history to delete them.
</p>
<p>
<b>Notes</b><br />
Afforder is a PWA (progressive web app) that works offline and uses your phone's cache to store data. Most phones will persist this data but there's no guarantee.
<br /><br />
This is an experiment. If it turns out to be useful, I'll make this into a fully-fledged iOS/Android app. Please do let me know if it's been helpful, or if you have any ideas.
