As discussed in #27, the r-forge estimate package does not have functionality for using dataframes as input/output and requires saved files for input. The package is released under a GPL-2 license and is the software presented in Yoshihara et al. 2013.

Therefore, in order to easily modify the function, we may decide to create a local-estimate repository to rapidly develop the source code of the project.

I created a personal repo with svn://r-forge.r-project.org/svnroot/estimate/ and am editing the functions, I'll post when I've tested functionality
