  1. Gosnmp does not support 3des privProtocol. Is there a support plan in the future?
  2. If 3DES is not supported in the future, could we implement the feature and commit to github?
  3. If we cant commit the feature, could we implement some interface to support 3des?

3DES is not a defined privProtocol in any SNMP standard. I have seen it implemented by proprietary Cisco definitions, but it's not defined by any RFC.

It may be possible to implement, but I would strongly encourage against using it due to the severely weak encryption.
