gonum.org/v1/gonum doesn't take you anywhere useful #4

At the moment if I visit the import path gonum.org/v1/gonum in the browser, it doesn't go anywhere useful.

It goes to a 404 pages which suggest a few things, but none of them point me to the git repository, for example.

Yes, I think we were aware of this, but had just not got around to it. It belongs in the website repo though, so I'll move it there.

What would you like to happen here? Would the most appropriate thing to be a redirect to godoc.org/gonum.org/v1/gonum?

The message above was a resend of an issue filed against the old site. I have closed all the others, but transferred this because it is still valid.

I've just had a quick look at this and I don't see an obvious way to do this properly with the set-up we have. We could do clumsy 302 redirects using netlify's _redirects as I have in #24. It's not ideal in that it doesn't go to the exact page asked for, but at least it points to documentation at the right root.
