Background: right now, one of my computers can't connect to wifi, and I'd like to restart my router. Otherwise, internet is working fine. My validator sits on my local network, and I'd like not to miss anything important, like block proposals or sync committee participation.

Feature Request: a timer on validator dashboard, indicating time remaining until the next epoch, with a list of things scheduled for my validators this epoch. If I see that I have no block proposals coming up, I'll be a lot more relaxed to restart my router.

Additional considerations:

  • Might be nice to educate people what are the risks related to going back online. Maybe worth skipping an epoch, or something like that.
  • The background story is about restarting my router, but I would also use this to run updates on my node software (EL client, beacon + validator clients).

💛

It would be very useful to see if your validators have any upcoming blocks.

If they do, you can wait until installing updates / rebooting. If they do not, you can safely reboot without missing your chance to create a block.
