It would be nice to have an option to remember a server password, mine is random, so I have to ask my password manager for it every time.

Maybe a keyring could be used? As a Gnome user I may be biaised here, but IIRC it's not that tightly linked to gnome-keyring, it's just a dbus service, the Secret Service if I understand this correctly.

May be related to #73.
