We recently upgraded our sentry version to 8.5 and the JIRA plugin seems to be broken. Definitely have the JIRA plugin installed in the packages section of sentry:

But the JIRA link doesn't show up under the integrations section, and the Issue Tracking section says:

No errors either.

The plugin works for me with my 8.5 sentry instance.

Are you using the latest sentry-jira from PyPI ? I ran into a couple of hiccups because I was using an outdated sentry-jira plugins.

So we are using 0.11.1 which is latest from PyPi, also tried the version on head as well and both don't seem to work.

I see the same problem with Sentry 8.6.0. The JIRA plugin is visible in the packages section, but there's no way to use or configure it.

I am seeing this issue as well. Notably:

  • Reinstalling any version (head, releases, etc) didn't succeed
  • Manually cleared any jira related db entries that might have been causing a swallowed error and it still failed

Thoughts? @mattrobenolt
