Hi everyone. I finally spent some hours fixing the plugin and updated it to work in Sketch 49.3.

I also added support for automatic updates. This plugin does some heavy lifting and uses a lot of undocumented Sketch internals, so if you still run into issues, please keep reporting them. As you may have noticed, I didn’t maintain the plugin for a long time, simply because I personally didn’t find enough value in it anymore.

Thus, I’m actually curious to know what parts of the plugin are most valuable to you. I made this plugin a long time ago and I’m not sure anymore if it solves problems better than other plugins out there. I still use the selection commands quite a lot and I’m happy to see that Sketch finally has a "replace color" feature which this plugin originally had.

Hi. Thank you for developing this plugin. It's new to me and I've ran into a few issues getting it to work correctly using Sketch 50+. I'm not certain this version is completely supported, and appears future updates are unlikely. However, I wanted to reachout in case my approach is incorrect.

Please let me know if you're free to answer my questions and I'll share my experience so far. Thanks!

Thank you for developing this plugin! It is very convenient for me to select colors and texts through this plug-in.
With other plugins used together, I can quickly complete a large number of texts replacement.

This seem to be the only plugin that can do a style inventory on Text Styles. I find that VERY useful. However I'd like some more flexibillity.

First of the Text Styles inventory misses line height. I'd like to find and eliminate Text Styles that has the same properties where only the line height differs. And in general the line height is very relevant.

Secondly, it would be great if the inventories could be integrated within a style guide. Full control over the layout is maybe a bit much to ask but what if the style inventory pages were symbols so that they could be inserted in another art board?

@mikaelwehner-kambi Thanks for your feedback.

I agree that information such as line height is missing and would be beneficial. Also I wish the whole thing would be more complete and accurate in terms of information as well as organization.

Unfortunately, Sketch does not provide all the means of naming and organizing design which is why I silently stopped developing this plugin any further. Instead, I’ll focus all my energy on building design tools and ways of staying organized with design.

Hi I just downloaded your plugin to generate an inventory of all the colours and text styles in use throughout my very large Sketch document, but it didn't do anything? It just created a new page with one blank artboard on it called 'Color Inventory'. Is it because I'm now on Sketch 52.6?

I'm looking for a plugin to do this so I don't miss anything that hasn't been linked to a style or symbol, since Craft Library has been discontinued and replaced with DSM (which I'm not currently a fan of). Being able to trace and merge any incorrect hex codes is my current mission.

Style Inventory is SO useful when you want to replace a font on the entire styles, on only one drag and drop and one click ! It's also perfect for documentation on the fly.

Your plugin is perfect for that, and no other plugins are doing it, not a single one.

🙏

I was having some trouble with his plugin and switched to using Automate Sketch. It has functionality for creating Typography pages and replacing fonts. It handles colors too.

Did you get any alternative to your problem, I'm on Sketch 54.

I got the same problem on V 56.2
