How to remove empty images for spouse, witness and child ?

Use Case 1: a family with one child that has a portrait image.

In default individual page view if spouse, witness or other children do not have associated portrait
then they are replaced by empty rectangle as per attached image.
How to remove those empty rectangles ?

Test done with hgouraud/Fallback branch cid 7ab19e8 but same behavior with version 7.0

Use Case 2: if no children with portrait, then mariage witnesses are not displayed
as per this second image

There is no way to remove them: there are no images at all. You can use default_image=yes to show fake portraits. If the border boxes are too much you can edit the template to remove those borders. On you example, the fact that the spouse empty-box takes the full height of the block is not wanted and should be fixed.
