There are known problems with the Haskell Platform 2010.2.0.0 release. I spent a long time trying to get it to compile with that but failed miserably.

I managed to get it to compile by installing a previous version (file:///C:/Users/tarwin/Downloads/HaskellPlatform-2010.1.0.0-setup.exe)

After install I ran "cabal install parsec2', and then simply ran "ghc --make -XDeriveDataTypeable as3tohaxe.hs"

So, thanks. Seems to work so far. But a note for anyone else trying to get it to compile.
