My guess is the issue is with the <script> tags, which are stripped (by design, since scripts could be malicious). You may want to try the RichHtml Previewer that allows the user to display content with scripts:
The RichHtml previewer could be used as a substitute for the basic Html previewer or as an additional one. (The RichHtml previewer only shows the warning and the choice to display w/ or without rich content if scripts are detected so it works like the basic Html previewer for files w/o scripts.)
Assuming the RichHtml previewer works for you, let me know if there's anything we could/should change in the basic Html previewer or if this issue can be closed.
