repeater on fw openGD77

hi, i am using mmdvm sw with TRX DM1801 (oepnGD77 fw)
as a DMR hotspot. I was wondering if mmdvm sw could not be modified for a repeater with an openGD77 device, I would only need to adjust the communication to two ports / dev / xxx0 for Tx communication on the radio (or Rx) and / dev / xxx1 for the opposite direction. The initialization communication would go to both stations (just the frequency would be sent different by offset).
Of course, incoming radio communication would also go to the output.
