Can anyone provide assistance. I am trying to send XLM from the stargazer wallet. I can fill out all the recipient information (address and amount to send) However when i click send and the review and submit window comes up, nothing populates. I am unable to send XLM from this wallet. Thank you for your time

Hi, I just helped a friend debug this issue. Given that this repository hasn't been updated in almost 2 years, it's unlikely the send will become fixed. You have 2 remaining options:

  1. If your account does not use a password, click export account, use a qr scanner to scan the qr code. In response, you'll see something in this format. You are looking for the value after key:. If it begins with an S. that's really good! That is your unencrypted private key. Save that securely and enter it into a different wallet. Preferably a wallet with active development. Solar wallet is on the Stellar website, so maybe use that.
  2. If your account does use a password. All is not lost! This is where me and my friend ended up. It's possible you may be able to turn off password protection. This did not work for us. If it works for you, follow step 1) after unlocking your wallet. If it does not work, you will need this script. Follow the instructions. I found it easiest to git clone the files, but you can also download as a zip and unzip. If you see the corrupt tag message, you entered your password wrong. If it works, you'll see an output starting with S. Again this is your unencrypted private key. Copy and import into any other wallet service

Hope this helps!!

For all who may find this answer from @colin-axner, just dropping a quick note in here to let you know his solution worked just fine for me. I also had all my XLM in the Stargazer wallet and could not send it out. By getting the private key from it, then I was able to use it to get access via the Solar wallet and send my XLM out from it.

Thanks @colin-axner !

I signed up for GitHub simply to drop in a big Thank You to @colin-axner for the troubleshooting tips! Took some trial & (lots of) error on my part, but I finally got everything off my Stargazer wallet. Thanks again!
