Api Crud functions - Update Missing

Hello,

I've been learning a lot in terms of the architectures and patterns you utilize. I like the idea of having a framework designed to be clean and allow for fast development.

While learning from your project(s) I noticed that outside of the Update Profile there is no update functionality on the controllers. I'm wondering if there is something that escapes me that I might be missing.

If there isn't then I would imagine all we would have to do is implement a new Update{Product}Request class and a Update{Product}RequestValidator and add the service method to update and link that to a PUT method in the controller. Unless I got any of that wrong.

Hi,

I haven't focused enough on completing the CRUD Implementation as of now. And yes, you just have to add the request DTO, Validator, and Service method to complete the UPDATE implementation. I will try to add it in a couple of days or probably later today.

Also, we would need to have a separate class for Update Request, UpdateProductRequest. Reusing CreateProductRequest might create confusions later on.

All set, added pull request #73 for your review. If this all checks out would like to explore your thoughts on Eager vs Lazy loading for API's when you have data model relationship.

Cool, the code looks fine. I have added in a couple of minor fixes though. Yes, I am planning to add an Entity Relation, maybe a brand entity where we can work with the Data relationship. Will try to prioritize over the weekend. Thanks,

I like the philosophy for quick development and the clean architecture makes it easy to maintain. I started learning the BlazorHero and now I kinda like the decoupling of the API from the actually application. Makes more sense for expandability and also for segregation for data logic.

Can't wait for the Blazor client, and also hoping to learn something from Angular as I have not being anything with it. My expertise is pretty beginner to moderate at best, so I'm taking it all in.

As a pet project I built a code generator for Blazor Hero, which I think after I figure out the patterns to use for data model relationship i might streamline it and add to the project. The idea is to build a Data Model and the source generator will create all the necessary files and additions on files needed to have the basic skeleton, so it would speed the time to develop a feature.
