The time has come. Use Plotly.NET instead! https://plotly.net/

XPlot has been around for a long time. It's pretty good at what it does, but it's ultimately a best-effort at a very broad and difficult space: plotting. It was the first (to my knowledge) charting frontend for Plotly that was fully-featured enough to be useful for serious scenarios.

Plotly.NET represents a much more fully-featured way to generate plotly-powered charts. This should come as no surprise, as Plotly.NET is sponsored by the Plotly company.

This repository will still stick around. I don't have any plans to archive it or otherwise mess with things that already work. And if you'd like to add some features, feel free to contribute and I'll do my best to shepherd them in.

But for users, I recommend that you use Plotly.NET now.
