Telegram app should remember video playback position

Telegram desktop doesn't remember video playback position in the app. When I play a streamable video someone has sent me, it forgets the last position I played it from as soon as I close the telegram video player. It shouldn't happen. In android apps (at least in plus messenger), it does remember it.

Describe the solution you'd like

After watching any streamable video on the Telegram Desktop app, it should remember the playback position.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Automatic bookmarking system. The app could automatically save the playback position when a video is paused or closed. When the user returns to the video, it would resume from that point. The bookmark file should be user accessible to backup and sync between pc devices.
