Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Some metadata types like Profiles, Settings, or Translations, are often troublesome for new projects. For example once you modify a profile it pulls in scratch orgs default profiles to the local file system, which you just can't delete (at least not against the current scratch orgs).

Describe the solution you'd like
These metadata types should be excluded per default, as they simplify the development process with new projects.
