Can the topic key be a comma separated list of topics so that it produces to multiple topics?

You can use the tag as topic to create multiple topics per data stream

Their requirement seems send events to multiple topics in one flush, not create outputs for each topic.

Looks like neither rdkafka nor ruby-kafka supports this out of the box unfortunately.
