Feature idea

I don't know if it's possible or is already possible but I'll suggest it anyway.

The current Japanese subtype is confusing to use. I don't even know how to convert the texts to kanji. Also the numeric row pads, the Japanese keyboard has their own symbol.

For example, the 0 to 9 from Japanese looks different, and here are their's 0123456789. Oh yeah, change the CJK from the kanji to what I showed as an example, because the kanji for the numbers are onjy used for formalities and should be typed as what they are and converted to kanji.

For example, if you wanna type the number 7 in kanji, you type なな and converting it to the kanji of 7 which is 七. I've seen no one who actually doesn't do this and doesn't use the 0123456789 number layout.

Many are used to the 10 Keys layout from Gboard (and possibly all keyboard apps use the same layout idk) and for that reason I would want it.

This issue seems to be a duplicate of #2290. Kanji conversion isn't supported yet and is tracked in #140.

You can change your number row by setting your "Number row layout" inside of your subtype settings. The default for JIS is set to CJK. You can change it to "Western Arabic" for regular half-width numbers.
