Keyboard Gestures not working

Short description

the gesture options such as swipe up,left,right,down stopped working once after i upgraded to a14. so far now delete gesture,space bar left,right gestures working.even clean installed many florisboard versions and changed many a14 roms still issue persists.

Steps to reproduce

Just install and and even default gestures won't work.

I'm guessing this is related to #1397

Can confirm this is happening on 0.3.16 stable release as well.
Installed from FDroid
Device: Nubia Redmagic 9 Pro
OS: Android 14

Recently Downgraded to A13 Crdroid and issue is not there.so means a14 needs fix.
