overhead on calling out to c is pretty slow.
the wrapper could be implemented in C and then wrapped in Go.
this means functions that are commonly found together than be grouped together.
this will be done probably after the audio api is polished.
i think the c shim should be abstracted enough that perhaps an alternative to SDL can be used?
only one c file needs to be used really since strife is a relatively light weight/minimal wrapper.
