Can't query on google chrome Version 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi, I'm having a problem while using the dev tools on google chrome. I'm using Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS. I notice that if I query instead of executing the query, it just goes on the next line (please see attached screenshot). The temporary solution that I came up with was uninstalling the latest version of chrome and installing a lower version of it. Hope it can be fixed. Thank you.

Chrome version --> "80.0.3987.132"
pc --> macos 10.14.6
