Apparently indentation cannot be customized

Tried multiple ways to customize indentation (even by editing directly package.json) but couldn't succeed.

What did you set todo.indentation to? And what did you expect to see that you are not seeing? You might have to change that setting and update the indentation manually yourself for the new setting to stick 🤔

I also had this issue, but a window reload/restart did seem to fix it.
However, I cannot get Tab \t to work as my custom indentation.
