@corranwebster What is the status of this package? Do we use it anywhere? It looks like it is unfinished. It refers to a Quantity class that does not appear to exist yet. C.f. #51

I think that @senganal or @timdiller may have better idea: although my name is in the header at the top of some of the files I don't recall having worked on this code in scimath (possibly it was pulled from another project?). I recall Tim having spent some time thinking about a better replacement to scimath.units many years ago; and Senganal has obviously most recently touched the code.

I am not familiar with the package.. I just noticed the errors when doing the PY3 port and logged it..
