Describe the feature

Can a setting be added that will essentially reroute the memory card slots when playing a game? Games usually default to mem card slot A and often times do not allow saves or slot B. This would trick the system to saving to Slot B thinking it is Slot A.

Couple reasons you would want to do this:

  1. For those who use a save game exploit in Slot A to load swiss, they would not need to do a mem card swap after loading swiss. Swiss would load from slot A and when games are booted they will use slot B as the default save location.
  2. For those who have games from other regions, they could have a different region mem card file in each slot, then using game specific save data direct certain region save files to one slot or the other.

there are problems in the dynamics of data allocation; something between the hardware with the homebrew projection and the path to be taken in shifting the bits allocated in memory...
Also, not all gamecubes have the SP2SD2 output.
there are more chassis limitations to add to the "perks".

how would this displacement (if it were possible) an IGR-type command?

I believe using the virtual memory card would solve the problem with exploits like Zelda WW. where it is now possible to explore, and use the swiss disk with virtual memory card without having to remove the official memory card from slot A.
