Our faker-elixir is already doing a good job in terms of translations. I think we already have:

  • English
  • Spanish
  • Armenian
  • Italian
  • Brazilian Portuguese

for some of the faker generators. I think we're still missing some people to lead other languages like:

  • German
  • French
  • Japanese
  • Mandarim
  • and others? thoughts?

We welcome any contributor to build this and suggest new languages.

Would it make sense to put this in the README?

@anthonator I'd say so.

I think so too. This package has a heavy emphasis on translations which require more community contribution than other aspects of this library. Asking for help with translation contributions in a more public place makes sense to me.
