When choosing language with a non Latin writing system (i.e. Russian Cyrillic), user has no way to enter Latin characters which are required for the home folder name (and probably for password as well on the next screen) and so unable to complete the installation.
Current workarounds
Go back to the beginning of the installer and choose other language for input or
Go to setting and change layouts manually
Expected way
When choosing language with a non Latin writing system, second keyboard layout with the Latin characters (usually English) should be added by default, both for the installation and for the installed system. Same approach is used on both Windows and current Ubuntu installer.
